Senior Accountant (IFRS)

Location: Fully remote in Canada

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 CAD base salary per year, plus performance bonus and equity

hirify.global is a publicly traded company operating a lean finance organization with an asset management entity and dual-listed TSX/NASDAQ operations.

What you will do

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, working papers, and reporting packages for monthly and quarterly close.
• Support IFRS reporting, variance analysis, discrepancy investigation, and consolidation across multiple entities and investment structures.
• Perform accounting for accruals, investments, loans, leases, financial instruments, and treasury-related activities.
• Own fund accounting reconciliations and reporting processes for the asset management entity.
• Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors across fund and corporate audits.
• Improve reconciliation workflows and contribute to finance automation, including NetSuite and AI-assisted processes.

Requirements

• CPA designation or completion of the final CPA stages.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Big 4 or national-firm background is required.
• IFRS foundation and external audit experience, including preparation and coordination.
• Strong Excel and ERP skills; experience with NetSuite is an asset.
• Ability to investigate and resolve accounting issues independently in a lean, fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial instruments, fund accounting, or investment structures.
• NetSuite experience.
