Senior Network Architect

Salary: $110,000–$143,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design secure, scalable, and highly available LAN, WAN, data center, cloud, and hybrid network architectures.
• Define network standards, best practices, technology roadmaps, reference architectures, and implementation guidelines.
• Lead network transformation, modernization, migration, optimization, and strategic technology initiatives.
• Design and support Azure and hybrid connectivity solutions using routing, switching, security, and cloud networking technologies.
• Lead complex troubleshooting, evaluate emerging technologies, and provide senior-level technical guidance.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, infrastructure, application, business, vendor, carrier, and technology partner teams while mentoring network engineers.

Requirements

• Must be able to work remotely from the United States.
• 12–15+ years of experience in enterprise networking and network security.
• Strong experience with LAN/WAN, cloud networking, data centers, SD-WAN, and hybrid environments.
• Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, network security, enterprise architecture, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN/EVPN, VPN, QoS, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Hands-on experience with Azure or another major cloud platform.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• CCIE, CCNP, or an equivalent networking certification.
• Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or other relevant networking and security certifications.
