Senior Staff Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: USA-REMOTE

Base salary: $152,152–$205,405 per year. On-target earnings: $200,000–$275,000.

What you will do

• Architect and rapidly prototype LLM-based, multi-agent, and agentic workflow systems for complex reasoning and data governance processes.
• Embed with Fortune 500 stakeholders to understand data ecosystems, governance bottlenecks, and business objectives, then translate them into technical roadmaps.
• Build and deploy BI and ML pipelines that turn cataloged data into executive-grade insights and measurable customer outcomes.
• Define repeatable solution patterns, accelerators, automation frameworks, and reusable components for the Forward Deployed Engineering organization.
• Feed customer use cases and edge cases into Product and Engineering roadmaps while conducting competitive analysis for Product and GTM teams.
• Mentor field engineers and customer technical teams on agentic AI, data governance, and platform architecture.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States; the role is remote.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience, including significant customer-facing technical leadership as an FDE, Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, vector databases, RAG architectures, and ML model fine-tuning.
• Experience delivering large-scale BI and data pipeline solutions, with strong SQL, cloud warehousing, and predictive modeling capabilities.
• Fluency in distributed systems, enterprise data governance, metadata management, and compliance-grade data platforms.
• Ability to write production-quality code quickly, shape technical standards, and build trust with executive and technical stakeholders.
