Materials Coordinator

Location: Fontana, California, United States; onsite production-floor work

Salary: $21.61–$29.18 USD hourly

What you will do

• Review material readiness and support pre-production planning for manufacturing projects.
• Follow up with vendors and buyers on lead times, tracking information, and delivery dates.
• Track material shortages, update ETAs and statuses in ERP, and maintain shortage reports.
• Coordinate with purchasing, engineering, project management, and production teams to resolve material and capacity constraints.
• Document leftover materials, shipment discrepancies, invoice issues, and project closeout actions.
• Attend production meetings and walkthroughs to identify and communicate risks to production schedules.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in planning, production, inventory, or expediting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and an MRP/ERP system.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and wear required PPE on the production floor.
