Support Product Manager

Location: Hybrid role based in San Jose, California, or Morrisville/Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, United States; office attendance expected three days per week. Relocation and relocation assistance are not offered.

Salary: $129,200–$192,500 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

What you will do

• Own the support portfolio strategy, offer design, tier differentiation, lifecycle evolution, and competitive positioning.
• Manage support offer economics with Finance, including P&L visibility, pricing governance, margin performance, and discounting discipline.
• Lead pricing, packaging, offer governance, support attach models, and portfolio lifecycle decisions.
• Develop portfolio messaging, competitive comparisons, field enablement, and customer-facing value propositions.
• Establish dashboards, operating rhythms, KPIs, and governance processes for portfolio performance.
• Lead value-added support bundles and coordinate with Delivery, Operations, Sales, and Renewals to improve adoption, retention, and customer loyalty.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, strategy, business operations, consulting, or a related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in complex organizations and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, project management, and program management skills.
• Experience building executive presentations, dashboards, KPIs, business reporting, business cases, or portfolio roadmaps.
• Ability to balance customer value, competitive positioning, operational feasibility, and financial outcomes.
• Ability to work from the San Jose or Research Triangle Park office three days per week.

Nice to have

• Understanding of support business models, services economics, customer lifecycle, support attach, renewals, pricing, and margin management.
• Experience creating go-to-market materials, pricing strategies, and executive-ready recommendations.
