Staff Product Manager (Network Observability)

Location: Remote within the United States, with compensation specified for the US East Coast.

Salary: $205,000–$220,000 annually, plus equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Own network observability features and products from definition through general availability and ongoing iteration across cloud and enterprise deployments.
• Define the roadmap, success metrics, and product strategy for observability offerings.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on network telemetry, observability, and production network troubleshooting.
• Prototype solutions, validate product ideas with engineering and customers, and participate in discovery and technical pre-sales conversations.
• Translate technical capabilities into customer and business value, positioning, demos, and enablement for go-to-market teams.
• Coordinate with Discovery and Assurance teams to create coherent platform offerings.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of product management leadership in B2B software, including 3+ years working on technically complex products.
• Experience with network observability, monitoring, or telemetry.
• Fluency with SNMP, streaming telemetry such as gNMI, flow data including NetFlow, sFlow, and IPFIX, and OpenTelemetry.
• Ability to work in a codebase, script against APIs, build prototypes, read pull requests, and collaborate effectively with engineers.
• Strong product lifecycle ownership, cross-functional influence, communication, and ability to operate in ambiguity.
• Must be able to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with open source products and communities.
• Familiarity with network automation or source-of-truth tooling.
• Experience shipping both on-premises and SaaS products.
• Exposure to device discovery or inventory ingestion pipelines.
