Location: Remote USA, West PST; hybrid remote and field-based work with regular travel to dealerships, dealer group offices, industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
Total target compensation: $90,000–$110,000 per year, including base salary and target incentive opportunity, with uncapped commission potential.

What you will do
- Prospect, develop, and close new business across automotive dealers, dealer groups, auctions, and related direct-market segments.
- Manage opportunities, accounts, customer relationships, pipeline documentation, forecasts, and territory plans.
- Build consultative relationships with dealership executives and decision-makers across sales, F&I, operations, marketing, and digital retailing.
- Conduct discovery, demonstrations, proposals, and executive presentations for the JD Power Dealer Solutions portfolio.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities and expand customers beyond single-product engagements.
- Coordinate with Product, Customer Success, Professional Services, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations on account strategy, contracting, implementation, and customer success.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of successful quota-carrying B2B sales experience, preferably in automotive retail, dealership technology, SaaS, data, F&I, digital retailing, inventory, marketing, or dealer services.
- Experience managing complex consultative sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, longer decision timelines, and larger revenue opportunities.
- Strong understanding of automotive dealership operations, profitability drivers, customer experience, marketing, inventory, service, F&I, and digital retailing.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify, build pipeline, negotiate, close, and expand customer relationships.
- Strong presentation, communication, business writing, executive relationship management, CRM, forecasting, and account-planning skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment sponsorship is not provided.
Nice to have
- Direct sales experience with automotive dealers, dealer groups, auctions, or dealership decision-makers.
- Experience with dealership technology, retail operations, F&I, inventory, marketing, reporting, digital customer experience, marketplaces, or dealer workflows.
- Existing relationships with automotive retailers, OEM field teams, F&I agencies, auctions, or dealer technology providers.
- Experience building territory plans, account strategies, campaign follow-up, and multi-product growth plans.
