Maintenance Planner (SAP)

Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia, USA; onsite manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Plan and schedule preventive, planned, emergency, and outage maintenance for the entire site.
• Coordinate work-order priorities, staffing, parts availability, and maintenance strategies with operations and maintenance personnel.
• Use SAP to manage weekly schedules, technical databases, maintenance plans, equipment bills of materials, work instructions, backlogs, drawings, and manuals.
• Develop critical-path schedules for maintenance outages and project installations while supporting capital and internal projects.
• Track maintenance costs, downtime, performance measures, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare reports, facilitate maintenance meetings, support root-cause activities, and assist with training documentation and new team member training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP or another electronic maintenance management system.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance work, including mechanical drawings, parts identification, and measuring instruments.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, planning, computer, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work with minimal supervision, interpret data, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to follow purchasing guidelines and learn preventive-maintenance and other maintenance activities quickly.
