Maintenance Planner (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Florence, Kentucky, United States of America

Salary: $70,250–$103,026 per year, plus discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

• Plan, prioritize, and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Create detailed job plans covering labor, materials, tooling, permits, and safety requirements.
• Manage work orders, preventive maintenance programs, maintenance history, KPIs, and backlog data in the CMMS.
• Coordinate maintenance work with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Analyze downtime trends and equipment performance to improve reliability, uptime, and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Lead maintenance scheduling meetings and support Lean, TPM, RCFA, OSHA, LOTO, confined-space, hot-work, and contractor-safety compliance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience planning, scheduling, or coordinating maintenance activities.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated industrial equipment.
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms such as SAP, Maximo, Fiix, eMaint, or similar systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, reporting, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to support targets including 90%+ schedule compliance, 95%+ PM completion, and 80%+ planned maintenance hours.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of maintenance planning or maintenance leadership experience.
• SAP PM or Maximo experience.
• CMRP, CRL, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma certification.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
