Maintenance Planner – Counce Mill

Location: Counce, Tennessee, United States; onsite work at the mill is required, including periodic weekend and unscheduled-hours call duty.

Starting salary: $86,400–$108,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan maintenance work orders, including manpower, time estimates, materials, tools, and special equipment.
• Prepare daily schedules, outage plans, budgets, purchase requisitions, and capital expenditure requests.
• Review spare-parts requirements and coordinate stock requests, contract work, and outside services.
• Serve as relief supervisor or foreman during absences and as the call-duty supervisor.
• Support the mill during unscheduled work hours and periodic weekend on-call coverage to resolve maintenance and production problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a two- or four-year technical degree is preferred.
• At least five years of related experience, such as journeyman mechanic, journeyman electrician, or engineer experience in industrial manufacturing, preferred.
• Ability to understand mechanical and electrical equipment and related repair techniques.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, multitasking, and computer skills.
• Ability to work onsite at the Counce mill and participate in unscheduled-hours and weekend on-call coverage.
