Technical Consultant (EHR)

Location: On-site in Overland Park, Kansas, United States. Travel of up to 20% may be required, along with occasional extended or irregular hours to support clients and projects across multiple time zones.

What you will do

• Implement technically focused solutions across multiple Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms.
• Design, develop, and support reports, forms, interfaces, and related system components.
• Consult with clients on technical designs, data structures, reporting requirements, and system behavior.
• Support technical setup, configuration, data migration, transfer testing, and data validation.
• Lead client and third-party vendor discussions on data mapping and system integrations.
• Troubleshoot reporting, data, and integration issues across pre-production and production environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field; two years of equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree.
• At least one year of healthcare information technology, systems management implementation, or consulting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and programming or design troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with electronic health records, HL7-based interfaces, SQL, relational databases, data migrations, reporting, or healthcare analytics is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site at the Overland Park location.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.
