Associate Site Reliability Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer (AI)

Location: Redwood City, California, United States; on-site at the headquarters

Salary: $90,000–$160,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Maximize system uptime and availability while meeting functional and performance SLAs.
• Establish end-to-end monitoring and alerting for critical systems and services.
• Resolve complex issues affecting critical services and build automation to prevent recurrence.
• Design and influence platform architectures, standards, and support methods.
• Lead scripting and automation for system updates, upgrades, and deployment workflows.
• Work cross-functionally with Services and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience deploying, managing, and operating scalable, fault-tolerant Linux, Kubernetes, and JVM-based infrastructure in AWS, GCP, and other public clouds.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, networking, databases, cloud providers, and Kubernetes cluster operations.
• Experience with Cassandra or another NoSQL database and configuration management systems such as Puppet.
• Experience with Bash or Python for system automation and monitoring.
• Experience supporting commercial SaaS solutions as a DevOps engineer or systems administrator, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills.
