Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Location: Remote within the United States; Atlanta, Georgia preferred

Salary: $120,000–$175,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and monitor reliable production systems at scale.
• Lead incident response, mitigate production issues, and conduct postmortem analysis.
• Monitor performance, analyze system failures, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions.
• Create and support observability and monitoring tools, including vendor integrations.
• Promote reliability, scalability, resilience, and security through cross-functional collaboration.
• Train and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a reliability-focused engineer in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or Crossplane.
• Application development experience with Python, Ruby, or Go.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in Kubernetes at scale and implementing monitoring with Grafana, New Relic, or Datadog.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with resilient systems, application and supply chain security, and SLO governance.
• Experience debugging live, critical production issues.
