Senior Full Stack Engineer (Angular, Node.js & MongoDB)

Location: Tempe, Arizona; hybrid schedule with onsite work three days per week. Candidates must be based in the Phoenix area and available for an in-person interview in Phoenix.

Salary: $60–$65 per hour

What you will do

• Write, test, document, and maintain production code, scripts, and technical work products.
• Design self-contained systems and lead implementation of significant capabilities in existing systems.
• Perform root cause analysis and define actions to improve reliability, resiliency, security, and performance.
• Develop test suites, instrumentation, and observability practices to meet latency and availability targets.
• Identify attack surfaces, close vulnerabilities, and guide secure engineering practices.
• Mentor teammates, decompose complex designs, and promote reusable implementations.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Angular, Node.js, and MongoDB.
• 7–9+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale production solutions, including at least 5 years with the core skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, technology, information systems, engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to work onsite three days per week in the Phoenix area and attend an in-person interview in Phoenix.
• Experience with software quality, observability, application security, performance, and reliability practices.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Airline industry experience.
