Technical Marketing Manager (AI Security)

What you will do

• Build and maintain competitive intelligence to strengthen positioning, sales conversations, and product launches.
• Develop and communicate Salt’s perspective on AI security, agentic workflows, MCP, and API-driven AI architectures.
• Create enablement assets, including battlecards, technical briefs, demo scripts, and solution sheets.
• Partner with Product on launches by translating technical capabilities into business impact and aligning Sales, SE, and CS.
• Create technical content that defines emerging AI security categories and best practices.
• Define how AI tools are used within the role and serve as a liaison between Product and Marketing.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in product marketing.
• Technical background or domain knowledge in cybersecurity.
• Experience in cybersecurity, preferably in agentic or AI security, cloud security, or adjacent domains.
• Strong understanding of competitive landscapes and the ability to turn intelligence into positioning and launch strategy.
• Experience creating technical content and translating engineering concepts into business-level narratives.
• Experience independently delivering end-to-end launches and hands-on use of AI tools.

Nice to have

• API security experience.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
