Senior Technical Project Manager and Product Owner - Marketing (Salesforce)

Location: Irvine, California, United States

Base salary: $140,000–$160,000 annually. Target annual bonus: 15% of base salary.

What you will do

• Translate marketing strategy into a prioritized product roadmap across the Marketing SaaS ecosystem and Salesforce customizations.
• Own backlog refinement and sequencing while balancing business requirements, technical debt, system stability, funding, and outcomes.
• Document requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria with Marketing Operations stakeholders and business systems analysts.
• Plan and coordinate end-to-end delivery, including sprint planning, demos, testing, UAT, and deployment readiness.
• Identify cross-system dependencies, mitigate technical risks, and communicate project status and technical trade-offs to leadership.
• Coordinate with architects, developers, and subject matter experts on SaaS integrations, proof-of-concept initiatives, data hygiene, security, and end-to-end data flows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project management or a hybrid technical project management/product ownership role.
• Experience managing software or business systems projects in an Agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of marketing processes, campaign operations, lead management, and top-of-funnel sales dynamics.
• Experience with Salesforce customizations and integrations in a modern Marketing Technology stack, such as Marketo, HubSpot, or Pardot.
• Ability to discuss APIs, interpret system architecture diagrams, and navigate database structures.
• Hands-on experience with Scrum or Kanban, Jira, and Confluence, plus strong communication across technical and business domains.

Nice to have

• Certified Scrum Product Owner or PMP certification.
• Experience with the end-to-end lead-to-opportunity process.
• Previous experience as a SaaS developer, technical analyst, or systems administrator.
