What you will do

• Support financial management and budget execution for a U.S. Army program.
• Analyze project financial processes, service data, consult volumes, timeliness metrics, and document backlogs.
• Prepare status reports and provide data-driven recommendations on operational priorities and resource allocation.
• Analyze congressional budget line items, appropriations, legislative changes, and long-range program objectives.
• Provide financial management guidance in accordance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with program officials, customers, leadership, and technical personnel on financial impacts, planning, and delivery.

Requirements

• Secret Security Clearance required.
• Five years of experience in budget planning and execution, program management, requirements definition, work planning, budget control, and program control.
• Knowledge of RDTE, OMA, and OPA appropriations, financial management laws and regulations, MIPRs, 7600 Support Agreements, and incremental funding.
• Experience with work breakdown structures, direct and reimbursable obligations, purchase orders, and researching and reconciling unliquidated obligations.
• Knowledge of government accounting and military financial systems, including GFEBS, FIRE, LMP, WAWF, SDW, DTS, DATAAPS, and labor accountability.
• Strong Excel financial modeling, communication, organization, time management, multitasking, and customer service skills; proficiency with Word and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Experience working with U.S. Army financial systems.
• Experience with Power BI, Pyramid Analytics, VSSC reports, or the Consult Toolbox.
