Budget Analyst TS/SCI Required

Location: On-site in El Segundo, California, United States

Salary: $75,000–$105,000 per year, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Maximize program execution and present budget-results reporting to senior leadership.
• Advise senior leadership on budget propriety, new-start implications, compliance, and applicable DoD regulatory guidance.
• Prepare response strategies to avoid potential budget cuts.
• Revise budget allocations and support reprogramming actions when required.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in DoD acquisitions financial management or budget analysis, including civil service, commercial contracting, or FFRDC/SETA experience.
• Experience with FM Suite, CCaR, and Excel.
• Knowledge of DTM 09-025 Space Systems Acquisition Policy, DoD Instruction 5000.02, the DoD Financial Management Regulation, and applicable Air Force instructions.
• Extensive knowledge of the DoD acquisition process, budget planning, formulation, programming, justification documentation, reporting, and program documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business, economics, finance, accounting, engineering, or the sciences.
• TS/SCI security clearance with DCID 6/4 eligibility and US citizenship are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with DoD Special Access Programs accounting.
• Familiarity with the National Intelligence Community budget cycle.
