Senior Solutions Engineer - Ohio

Location: Remote, but candidates must be based in the greater Cincinnati or Columbus, Ohio metro areas; travel throughout the territory is required for customer meetings, partner engagements, onsite presentations, and regional events.

Target compensation: USD 197,200–255,200 OTE, including base salary and potential commission.

What you will do

• Serve as the technical lead and trusted advisor for commercial accounts across the territory.
• Partner with account executives to develop territory strategy, build pipeline, and drive customer success across existing and new opportunities.
• Build relationships with channel partners, VARs, and partner Solutions Engineers to co-sell and deliver customer outcomes.
• Lead discovery conversations covering business priorities, technical challenges, modernization, AI readiness, hybrid cloud, and cyber resiliency.
• Position, demonstrate, and configure hirify.global solutions across ONTAP, SAN, NAS, block, file, hybrid cloud, and data protection environments.
• Coordinate with Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Channel teams, and Engineering while supporting multiple opportunities and traveling across the region.

Requirements

• Must be based in the greater Cincinnati or Columbus, Ohio metro areas.
• Technical expertise in data infrastructure, storage, data management, or related enterprise technologies.
• Strong discovery, presentation, relationship-building, and customer advisory skills.
• Ability to support multiple customer opportunities across a broad territory.
• Ability to travel for customer meetings, partner engagements, onsite presentations, and regional events.
• Ability to collaborate with sales representatives, channel partners, architects, professional services, and engineering teams.
