Engineering Technician II (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: St Peters, MO, United States; onsite position with approximately 10% travel. The role is not relocation eligible.

Salary: $21.50–$29.20

What you will do

• Design, test, check out, fabricate, modify, troubleshoot, and assemble electronic and electromechanical systems, prototypes, test equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and subsystems at both system and component level.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and corrective actions.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing according to engineering and manufacturing specifications.
• Prepare logbooks, test procedures, quality notifications, and other technical documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a secure, clean, and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Experience applying analytical skills and scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, climb stairs and ladders, work in tight spaces, and lift as required.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate heavy machinery such as forklifts.
• Ability to work with required personal protective equipment in clean-room environments and distinguish between colors.
