What you will do
- Perform rework and manufacture electrodes according to established procedures.
- Operate conventional and CNC machinery, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, band saws, and machining centers.
- Set up Fanuc-controlled CNC machines and monitor cutting operations.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tool-room machines, fixtures, devices, and machine components.
- Measure and verify parts using vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and optical comparators.
- Manage tools, critical spare parts, consumables, and raw materials for part fabrication.
Requirements
- Completed technical degree in Machine Tools, Mechatronics, Industrial Mechanics, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a tool room within the maquiladora or manufacturing industry.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D technical drawings.
- Proficiency with precision measurement instruments, including vernier calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
- Experience operating CNC machining centers, CNC and conventional lathes, conventional milling machines, grinders, band saws, and circular saws.
- Knowledge of welding or mechanical fitting, Fanuc CNC programming, and design software.
