Maintenace Engineer (Medtech)

Location: Cuautla, Mexico; onsite role

What you will do

• Maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, controls, robotic, and software systems through preventive maintenance and breakdown response.
• Install, repair, and improve equipment, plant services, and building installations.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, equipment manufacturers, and third-party service providers.
• Work with operations and engineering teams to ensure equipment meets required capabilities.
• Schedule downtime for planned projects, preventive maintenance, and unplanned repairs.
• Identify breakdown root causes, recommend solutions, and escalate risks to production and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree is preferred, with equivalent experience considered.
• Relevant professional industry experience, certifications, system experience, and training.
• Clear and proactive communication with colleagues at all organizational levels.
• Customer-focused approach to developing practical solutions.
• Professional-level English is preferred.
