Telemetry Technician Part Time Nights (Medtech): Performing continuous telemetry monitoring and documenting rhythm strips for the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions with an accent on cardiac rhythm interpretation, prompt escalation, and equipment troubleshooting. Focus on identifying lethal arrhythmias, monitoring multiple systems, supporting bedside staff, and communicating telemetry findings to the interdisciplinary team.
Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States. Onsite part-time night shifts from 7pm to 7am, including every other weekend.
Salary: USD 18.33–25.66 per hour

What you will do
- Perform continuous telemetry surveillance across multiple monitors.
- Obtain and document telemetry rhythm strips as directed.
- Identify significant rhythm changes, including lethal arrhythmias, and escalate them promptly.
- Document telemetry information in EPIC and communicate findings to the interdisciplinary team.
- Escalate equipment concerns such as low batteries, artifact, and disconnected telemetry leads.
- Assist bedside staff with troubleshooting monitoring equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Successful completion of ECG interpretation coursework.
- Current CPR – Basic Life Support certification.
- Successful completion of the required CDH Monitor Technician Exam before the interview, including multiple-choice questions and cardiac rhythm measurement and interpretation.
- Availability for 7pm–7am shifts and every other weekend.
