Pharmacy Tech - Full Time Night Shift (Healthcare)

Location: 1000 N. Westmoreland, Lake Forest, Illinois, United States. Onsite overnight role.

Salary: $22.58–$31.61 per hour

What you will do

• Identify, fill, label, package, and distribute patient medications and pharmacy supplies.
• Prepare sterile compounds and IV admixtures, including hazardous medications, chemotherapy, and biologics.
• Fill surgical kits, medication carts, emergency crash carts, requisitions, and specialty items.
• Deliver medications to nursing units and maintain automated dispensing cabinets, floor stock, and inventory.
• Handle controlled substances, including reconciliation, security, waste, returns, and expiration checks.
• Maintain medication logs, patient charges, records, inspections, and required documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician License through IDFPR required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certification through PTCB or NHA required for applicable licensed technicians.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
• Availability for overnight 10-hour shifts, working 7 days on and 7 days off, totaling 72 hours per pay period.

Nice to have

• One year or less of related work experience and familiarity with customary pharmacy routines and procedures.
