TL;DR

Sr Principal Product Marketing Director (AI Security): Defining positioning, launches, sales enablement, and analyst strategy for F5's AI Security Platform with an accent on generative AI security, enterprise risk reduction, and competitive differentiation. Focus on translating AI security capabilities into executive messaging, accelerating pipeline and win rates, and guiding strategic customer evaluations.

Annual base pay: $226,600–$339,800

What you will do

Define positioning, messaging, and differentiation for the AI Security Platform, including AI Guardrails, AI Gateway, AI Red Team, and Workforce AI Security.
Translate technical capabilities into executive-level business value, risk reduction, and compliance messaging.
Create thought leadership content such as white papers, keynotes, and customer stories.
Lead major product launches across demand generation, field marketing, communications, and channel teams.
Enable enterprise sales teams with presentations, objection handling, demo narratives, and MEDDPICC-aligned playbooks.
Partner with product management, sales, analysts, cloud marketplaces, and strategic partners to drive pipeline, competitive wins, and roadmap insight.

Requirements

10+ years of B2B product marketing experience in enterprise cybersecurity, application or API security, cloud security, or AI infrastructure.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
Working knowledge of generative AI architectures, LLM security risks, Model Context Protocol, and agentic workflows.
Hands-on experience with generative AI tools and developer platforms including Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Ollama, or vLLM.
Experience delivering keynotes and engaging with Fortune 500 CISOs and security architects.
Strong quantitative skills for analyzing metrics, win/loss trends, and messaging experiments.
