Commercial Legal Counsel (AdTech)

Location: London or remote within the United Kingdom, with occasional office attendance. Occasional early evening hours may be required for meetings with the manager in Redwood City, California.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate vendor, customer, licensing, and insertion order contracts.
• Partner with legal, commercial, sales, product, engineering, finance, and accounting teams to resolve contractual issues.
• Maintain the contract ticketing system and track contract milestones, approvals, and deadlines.
• Support contract compliance, including addressing deviations and breaches.
• Improve contract templates, standard clauses, and approval processes.
• Provide contract guidance and training to employees while monitoring relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of relevant experience as a Contracts Counsel, Legal Counsel, or in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
• Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience with contract management software or tools and collaborative work in a global cross-functional environment.
