Global Supply Manager, Propulsion (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead sourcing and supplier management for custom machined components and major vehicle structures.
• Develop supply chain strategies covering supplier selection, long-term agreements, and capacity planning for Terran R build schedules.
• Partner with propulsion engineering, manufacturing operations, quality, and planning teams to support design for manufacturability and program milestones.
• Drive supplier performance through risk management, contract negotiations, milestone tracking, recovery plans, and key performance indicators.
• Improve sourcing processes, supplier health, and program readiness while mentoring team members in precision machining and supplier development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement.
• Experience managing suppliers for complex aerospace or advanced manufacturing commodities.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing milestone-based agreements.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as LN, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of CNC machining, 5-axis milling, turning, precision grinding, EDM, and tight-tolerance fabrication.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced degree in supply chain, business, or engineering.
• Experience managing aerospace machining commodities, including CNC-machined components, castings, forgings, sheet metal fabrication, and extrusions.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and NADCAP standards, supplier qualifications, and audit processes.
• Experience with new product development or introduction supply chains in aerospace or frontier technology.
• Knowledge of supplier risk assessment, machining cost modeling, capacity planning, material specifications, surface treatments, and inspection requirements.
