Junior Application Developer (Vue.js)

Location: Fully remote, but candidates must reside in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware; occasional presence at the Philadelphia office may be required.

Salary: $68,330–$75,736 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy JavaScript-based web applications supporting research and administrative initiatives.
• Build cross-platform, data-driven applications and custom integrations with third-party systems.
• Enhance user interfaces and user experiences across new and existing applications.
• Write reusable code, participate in code reviews, and apply appropriate security practices.
• Provide application support to technical and non-technical end users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience developing, documenting, enhancing, and supporting data-driven web applications.
• Programming experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and version control skills.
• Ability to manage concurrent projects, changing priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Residence in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js, React, Node.js with Express, MSSQL, or other databases.
• Knowledge of SQL schemas, stored procedures, views, token-based authentication, and REST API design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines or deployment workflows.
