C-UAS Training & Demo Expert (AI)

Location: On-site in Gilching, Bavaria, Germany; worldwide travel and outdoor work in demanding conditions are required.

What you will do

• Conduct product demonstrations and hands-on flight training for C-UAS systems.
• Prepare, assemble, function-check, troubleshoot, and verify C-UAS equipment before customer engagements.
• Create and maintain manuals, presentations, practical exercises, and realistic training scenarios in German and/or English.
• Guide pre-flight checks, flight planning, post-flight procedures, and post-processing activities.
• Assess trainee performance, provide constructive feedback, and document training results.
• Coordinate demonstrations and training with customers, site operators, authorities, Sales, Engineering, and Product teams while following safety requirements and local regulations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in UAS operations, flight testing, or field engineering within defence, aerospace, or RC.
• Valid A1/A2/A3 and STS 1 & STS 2 drone pilot qualifications, or willingness to obtain them quickly.
• Hands-on FPV piloting experience and understanding of FPV UAV capabilities, limitations, and flight characteristics.
• Knowledge of C-UAS detection, identification, tracking, threat assessment, flight operations, safety procedures, and EASA or equivalent airspace regulations.
• Practical experience with radio systems, antennas, telemetry, GNSS, radar, video links, or long-range communications.
• Ability to deliver training in German and/or English, plus a valid Class B driving licence.

Nice to have

• Experience with turbine-powered model aircraft.
• C-UAS experience or a military, police, or security background.
