What you will do

• Architect and technically steer the future flight physics data architecture within the Simulation Process and Data Management Platform.
• Shape the long-term data strategy and define robust data products with the data engineering team.
• Enable secure, compliant data flow and digital continuity across global engineering centers.
• Act as the primary technical authority for Flight Physics data frameworks.
• Mentor data engineers, data custodians, and domain specialists while aligning engineering needs with modern technology.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data management, data mesh architecture, or Product Lifecycle and Configuration Management (PLM/SPDM).
• Experience leading technical strategy or guiding data engineers in designing robust, scalable solutions.
• Familiarity with modern data frameworks or architectural modeling tools.
• Understanding of data governance, lineage, and classification principles.
• Strong communication, active listening, stakeholder management, consensus-building, and mentoring skills.
• Background or interest in aerospace, flight physics, or complex technical environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Palantir Foundry, 3DExperience, or ARAS.
