Electrical Design Engineer I (Aerospace & Defense)

What you will do

• Design simple firmware or hardware components using project design tools and provided hardware requirements.
• Develop firmware and hardware under the direction of a manager or technical lead.
• Create test procedures and test benches, then perform unit testing.
• Modify and debug firmware, hardware, test procedures, and test benches.
• Update designs based on unit-test results and configure final tested units and test benches.
• Participate in peer reviews of firmware, hardware designs, and code.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience.
• Background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance when required for a project.
• Access to ITAR-controlled products and technical data is restricted to U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents.
• Ability to comply with U.S. export-control requirements, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC procedures.
