System Engineer IV (Cloud Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Design, implement, configure, patch, and maintain standardized enterprise infrastructure across business units.
• Manage data center, cloud, compute, virtualization, storage, networking, backup, monitoring, and security technologies.
• Ensure uptime, availability, performance, resiliency, and timely remediation through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities.
• Lead infrastructure standardization, modernization, migration, integration, and cross-functional IT projects.
• Develop infrastructure standards, procedures, documentation, implementation playbooks, and training materials.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in a medium- to high-volume environment.
• Experience designing and managing cloud hyperscale environments such as Azure and AWS.
• Experience with Nutanix and VMware hypervisors, virtual machine deployment, and on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience managing backup appliances, storage arrays, server blade systems, and LAN, WLAN, WAN, and Internet networking.
• Advanced knowledge of compute, hypervisors, networking, storage, backups, automation tools, and deployment methods.
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-oriented technical discipline or equivalent experience.
