Senior ISC IT Manager - Grand Rapids (Manufacturing)

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States; on-site five days per week. Occasional travel of 5–15% across North American sites is required.

Annual base salary: $146,521.66–$204,609.99.

What you will do

• Define and execute a 3–5-year technology roadmap with plant, operations, and business-unit leaders.
• Lead the site IT team, partner engagements, service-level agreements, incident response, and business continuity.
• Ensure uptime and resilience across manufacturing, assembly, testing, warehousing, quality, network, and industrial edge systems.
• Drive Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory initiatives, including MES, automated material handling, IoT sensors, predictive maintenance, and shop-floor analytics.
• Govern enterprise rollouts involving Oracle ERP, DELMIA Apriso MES, product lifecycle systems, and machine-to-system integrations.
• Improve IT operations through Lean manufacturing, asset management, vendor governance, budget oversight, and continuous improvement events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in discrete manufacturing, industrial, or Smart Factory environments.
• 8+ years of direct people leadership experience.
• Deep experience with MES, industrial automation, shop-floor traceability, inventory or warehouse management, and quality inspection systems.
• Experience with industrial cybersecurity, SCADA, PLCs, plant networks, software lifecycle management, and patch management.
• Must work on-site in Grand Rapids five days per week and be able to travel occasionally across North American sites.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle ERP and Dassault Systèmes DELMIA Apriso MES.
• Industry 4.0, machine connectivity using OPC UA or MQTT, AGVs, or robotics experience.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience, including Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Knowledge of Purdue Model security architecture and industrial network segmentation.
• PMP, ITIL v4, CISSP, or equivalent operational certifications.
