Senior Program Manager (Army) (AI)

Location: McLean, Virginia; on-site five days per week or at the customer site. Travel to client sites is required as needed. U.S. citizenship is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret government clearance.

Base salary: $175,000–$350,000 USD annually, plus potential clearance differential and discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead delivery across a $13M+ services portfolio supporting U.S. Army technology modernization programs.
• Manage a multidisciplinary team of more than 50 project managers, architects, engineers, and other resources.
• Drive account growth, opportunity identification, solutioning, and RFI/RFP capture activities.
• Partner with senior military and government stakeholders on program direction, technical requirements, and contract strategies.
• Incorporate AI-Powered Process Automation and AI-assisted application generation into delivery.
• Monitor agile delivery velocity, customer health, resource utilization, program P&L, and team development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of program management experience leading complex technology modernization initiatives for the Department of Defense, especially the Army, or relevant federal agencies.
• Experience managing teams of more than 50 resources and more than $13M in annual services revenue.
• Hands-on leadership delivering software modernization programs using agile methodologies and AI-assisted application generation.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret government clearance.
• Availability for on-site work in McLean or at customer sites, with required travel.

Nice to have

• PMP, PgMP, SAFe Agilist, or Certified Scrum Master certification.
• Experience with Salesforce or ServiceNow.
• Negotiation experience with large-scale federal fixed-price and time-and-materials contracts.
