What you will do
- Bill insurance policies accurately and on time in AMS.
- Initiate and monitor carrier payments using policy financial files in ImageRight.
- Coordinate with account managers on outstanding billings and billing questions.
- Reconcile client accounts and resolve billing discrepancies with account teams.
- Analyze billing information, recommend solutions, and maintain accurate financial records.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or 2–4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Nice to have
- Commercial insurance experience or industry knowledge.
- Experience with AMS360, ImageRight, Applied Epic, or similar insurance billing systems.
- Experience with Smartsheet, accounting principles, billing workflows, or bookkeeping.
