What you will do

• Maintain and evolve existing live web applications rather than building from scratch.
• Develop robust backend services using Java 11, Spring Data, and Hibernate.
• Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using Vue.js 3 and JavaScript.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases for high-performance production environments.
• Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to ensure automated, secure deployments.
• Provide support and maintenance for CMS or Wiki platforms like MediaWiki or Confluence.

Requirements

• Full professional proficiency in German (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• 3–5 years of experience in full-stack development and software maintenance.
• Strong expertise in Java 11, Spring Data, Hibernate, and Apache Tomcat.
• Proven experience with Vue.js 3, JavaScript, and charting libraries like Highcharts.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL 14, Git, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Must have relevant project references demonstrating experience in live application maintenance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cisco AnyConnect VPN in secured government environments.
• Knowledge of BSI IT-Grundschutz or ISO 27001 standards.
• Familiarity with EVB-IT contract frameworks or public procurement.
