Senior Developer (C#/.NET/React)

Location: Remote; applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK. An office in London is available for quarterly meetups, with opportunities to work from Germany or Poland.

Salary: £80,000–£90,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and enhance full stack applications using C#, .NET, React, and TypeScript.
• Deliver software for buying, merchandising, product management, stock, pricing, promotions, and sales reporting.
• Build secure REST APIs, backend services, event-driven solutions, and asynchronous processes.
• Develop and operate containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes in Microsoft Azure.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and apply automated testing, code review, source control, and continuous integration practices.
• Investigate complex issues, contribute to architecture discussions, and collaborate with product, technical, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Around 6 or more years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET, SQL, JavaScript or TypeScript, and full stack development.
• At least 4 years of professional experience with React or a comparable modern frontend framework.
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven patterns, microservices, REST APIs, and SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git-based source control, and CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins.
• Legal right to work in the UK is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud application deployment.
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, MassTransit, Azure Service Bus, and microfrontend solutions.
