Revenue Analyst (Healthcare Revenue Operations)

Location: New York, New York; hybrid schedule with three days per week in the office

Annual salary: $70,000–$85,000 for NYC-based applicants, plus potential bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Analyze outstanding AR, denial and adjudication trends, carrier behaviors, member account activity, and cash collection outcomes.
• Own monthly AR and DSO reporting models for the Finance organization.
• Build and maintain Member AR monitoring and PowerBI dashboards covering denial trends, adjudication performance, and collections.
• Align external carrier reporting with internal adjudication data to identify discrepancies and improvement opportunities.
• Manage vendor relationships and support the design of denial workflows with internal stakeholders and carrier contacts.
• Lead monthly scorecarding and enhance RPA-based processes for denial categorization and revenue performance monitoring.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in analytics, revenue operations, healthcare revenue cycle management, or a similar data-focused role.
• Strong Excel proficiency, including complex modeling and data manipulation.
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying, validation, and transformation.
• Experience building dashboards or visualizations in PowerBI.
• Ability to manage analytical tools and automation processes such as RPA, macros, and workflows.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills with close attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with payer adjudication, healthcare revenue cycle processes, and denial management.
• Experience with carrier or vendor relationships, claims analytics, denial root-cause analysis, or payer-facing roles.
• Exposure to RPA tools such as UiPath or Blue Prism.
