RCM Project Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Fully remote; work is performed from a home office or another suitable remote location with reliable high-speed internet. Standard working hours are established with the leader and may be adjusted according to business needs.

What you will do

• Analyze operational, financial, reimbursement, claims, denials, appeals, billing, and collections data for the RCM division.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and visual summaries in Power BI.
• Identify trends, root causes, and process improvement opportunities that reduce denials, improve collections, and optimize reimbursement.
• Support the planning, execution, monitoring, and measurement of RCM initiatives and operational improvement projects.
• Coordinate with RCM stakeholders to track milestones, define reporting requirements, and establish performance metrics.
• Collaborate with technical teams and data owners to improve reporting automation, data accessibility, accuracy, and consistency.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, data analytics, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle management, business analysis, or data analytics.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations and manage multiple priorities independently.
• Commitment to data accuracy and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with AI tools and technologies for productivity, data analysis, reporting, workflow efficiency, and operational decision-making.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare reimbursement, claims, denials, appeals, billing, or accounts receivable processes.
