Senior Process Engineer (AI Manufacturing)

Location: Kuching, Malaysia; onsite at the Sarawak Kuching Office

What you will do

• Develop, optimize, qualify, and maintain substrate manufacturing processes to achieve consistent quality and specification compliance.
• Troubleshoot quality issues, yield losses, and process excursions through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Plan and execute new process development, qualification, technology transfers, and new product introduction activities.
• Use design of experiments, statistical analysis, and process monitoring data to improve capability, yield, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Evaluate and qualify new materials, chemicals, consumables, and process technologies with suppliers and external partners.
• Prepare and maintain process specifications, SOPs, safety procedures, environmental requirements, HIRAC documentation, FMEA activities, and CAPA plans.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a master's degree in chemical engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, physics, or a related engineering field.
• Fresh graduates with relevant engineering qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Strong technical knowledge or hands-on experience in process engineering, materials characterization, or manufacturing processes.
• Problem-solving, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and analytical skills related to process and quality issues.
• Interest or experience in AI, data analytics, machine learning applications in manufacturing, statistical process control, or new process technologies.
