Principal Engineer (Front End Process)

What you will do

• Lead the process engineering team and manage process performance, quality, productivity, and adherence to manufacturing controls.
• Identify process improvements, reduce downtime, increase capacity, and improve process capability and equipment productivity.
• Manage new product onboarding, package transfers, product qualification, and validation for high-volume production.
• Lead OQ/PQ validation protocols, process trials, design reviews, process refinement, and tool build support.
• Resolve manufacturing issues with engineering, production, customers, and vendors, including customer material investigations and 8D reports.
• Develop and maintain DFMEA, PFMEA, OCAP, work instructions, SPC, control plans, and other line process documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering.
• At least 7 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment with strong process knowledge.
• Experience in line maintenance and process engineering management, with proven supervisory and technical skills.
• Knowledge of die bonding and wire bonding processes.
• Hands-on knowledge of plating, molding, trim and form, OS testing, singulation, and related chemical and tooling processes.
• Experience with PFMEA, quality standards such as IATF 16949, analytical risk-based thinking, problem solving, and team leadership.
