Electrical Systems Engineer for Project Execution (f/m/d)

What you will do

• Execute electrical engineering activities for international gas and steam turbine power plant projects.
• Use COMOS and plant design software to generate single-line diagrams, interconnection diagrams, circuit manuals, cable data, and termination information.
• Define component requirements and design electrical auxiliaries for gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators.
• Coordinate with suppliers on wiring drawings, schematics, data sheets, and compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare equipment specifications and procurement documents, evaluate vendor bids, and conduct technical discussions.
• Participate in factory acceptance tests for electrical equipment and travel up to 5% to vendor, client, and project sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of gas and steam turbine power plants, electrical systems, engineering, and project execution.
• Knowledge of COMOS, plant design software, and TIA Portal.
• Understanding of LV/MV switchgear, battery chargers, cables, cable raceway systems, power control centers, generator and transformer protection, synchronization, static excitation systems, starting frequency converters, and LV transformers.
• Proficiency in German and English with strong communication skills in both languages.
• Teamwork skills, creativity, and an open personality.
