PMO Analyst

Location: Hampshire, onsite 5 days per week. Candidates must meet applicable UK Government and contractual personnel security and residency requirements and have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Some roles may have nationality requirements.

What you will do

• Maintain integrated programme plans, milestones, dependencies, deliverable trackers, resource trackers, and programme documentation.
• Collect, validate, and analyse workstream progress, identifying schedule risks, slippage, inconsistencies, and emerging issues.
• Prepare programme reports, dashboards, and governance packs for senior stakeholders.
• Maintain RAID logs, risk and issue registers, action and decision trackers, and follow up on overdue actions.
• Support budgets, actuals, forecasts, variance analysis, governance meetings, transition readiness, cutover, and hypercare reporting.
• Maintain change pipelines, benefits and capacity trackers, and improve PMO processes, reporting, tools, and automation.

Requirements

• Experience as a PMO Analyst, Project Support Officer, or Project Coordinator, preferably in IT programmes or projects.
• Strong experience producing programme reports, dashboards, and governance packs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong data analysis and presentation skills.
• Experience with programme planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
• Experience with RAID logs, programme plans, financial tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and IT service delivery or ITSM environments.
• Must meet applicable UK Government and contractual security and residency requirements and have the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• PRINCE2, APM, PMP, CAPM, or P3O qualification.
• ITIL 4 Foundation.
• Experience with Power BI, ServiceNow, PPM tools, SharePoint, or automation using Power Automate, VBA, or PowerShell.
• Experience supporting IT Transition, outsourcing, managed service, regulated, government, or defence programmes.
