Calibration Technician (58039)

Location: Based at the laboratory in Corydon, Indiana, with calibration work in the lab and at customer sites in the Cincinnati area and beyond. Local and regional travel is required, including approximately 20% overnight travel. U.S. Person status is required because the role involves access to ITAR-controlled information.

What you will do

• Provide calibration services in laboratory and customer-site environments.
• Perform measurement, temperature, torque, pressure, electrical, mechanical, and physical/dimensional calibrations.
• Identify and apply appropriate measurement techniques for inspection, measuring, and testing equipment.
• Maintain calibration standards and use instruments such as hardness testers, optical comparators, torque tools, pressure gauges, temperature equipment, micrometers, calipers, and multimeters.
• Work independently and collaboratively with other technicians while following safety and company standards.
• Travel to local and regional customer locations, including overnight travel when required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on mechanical, electrical, physical, or dimensional calibration experience, or related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Experience with mechanical measuring, inspection, and testing equipment; commercial or military experience is accepted.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work 40 or more hours per week, including overtime when needed, and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Must have a clean driving record and pass a background check and drug screen; U.S. Person status is required for ITAR compliance.
