What you will do
- Qualify hardware components including servers, JBOFs, SSDs, network cards, switches, and optical transceivers.
- Write requirement documents for new features.
- Collaborate with vendors on implementation and debugging.
- Transfer knowledge to software developers, QA, support, and manufacturing teams.
- Become a subject matter expert for specific hardware platforms and technologies.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a detailed system-level understanding.
- Previous experience in hardware design, firmware design, Linux device drivers, and/or QA/verification of complex systems.
- B.a. / B.Sc EE or CS - an advantage
- Experience in at least one of the following technical areas: PCIe, Server design, Storage systems, Networking, Linux.
