Mechanical Engineer - Test Station Development

Location: Remote, associated with the Tel Aviv office in Israel

What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical test stations for board-level and system-level hardware validation and production testing.
• Improve test-station reliability, repeatability, ergonomics, and ease of use for technicians.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate test setups.
• Select materials and mechanical components for durability and maintainability.
• Support assembly, validation, and troubleshooting in a production environment.
• Document design specifications, assembly instructions, and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience designing mechanical test fixtures or automated test stations.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD design software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience designing for reliability, repeatability, and ease of maintenance.
• Ability to work closely with hardware and production engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of pneumatic and electromechanical systems for automated test stations.
• Experience with rapid prototyping and manufacturing techniques.
• Familiarity with test automation and integration with software-driven systems.
