Graduate Fire Engineer (Fire Engineering)

Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom; roles are available across UK and Ireland offices. Right to work in the UK or Ireland is required. Hybrid, part-time, and flexible working arrangements may be discussed.

What you will do

• Carry out fire engineering analysis for new and existing building projects.
• Support projects involving high-rise offices, large retail complexes, airport developments, and other complex buildings.
• Analyse fire growth, means of escape, structural fire resistance, and smoke control.
• Use computer modelling methods, including Computational Fluid Dynamics.
• Prepare technical reports and liaise with major building developers and clients.
• Develop sustainable fire engineering solutions aligned with BREEAM standards and net-zero goals.

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK or Ireland.
• Master’s degree completed within the last two years or expected in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, or Physics.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues at different levels.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
