IT Engineering Lead

What you will do

• Set the engineering strategy, roadmap, architecture priorities, investment decisions, and technical debt approach for internal technology foundations.
• Own identity and access infrastructure, including authentication, provisioning, device trust, lifecycle automation, and auditable access controls.
• Build and operate endpoint management, software deployment, patching, compliance, corporate networks, office connectivity, WAN, and remote access.
• Establish standards for core SaaS administration, integrations, configuration, recovery, and shared infrastructure ownership.
• Replace recurring manual work with reliable services and workflows using APIs, version control, testing, configuration as code, and appropriately governed AI.
• Hire and develop engineers while establishing monitoring, service ownership, incident response, change management, documentation, and verified recovery practices.

Requirements

• Experience leading IT engineering, corporate engineering, or a comparable internal platform team through significant growth.
• Strong technical depth across identity, endpoint management, SaaS administration, and corporate networking.
• Practical software engineering skills, including scripting or programming, APIs, version control, code review, and testing.
• Experience delivering reliable automation and integrations and operating services through incidents, migrations, and changes.
• Ability to translate security requirements into effective technical controls and demonstrate that they work.
• Experience hiring, developing, and managing engineers while remaining a credible technical leader, with clear communication and prioritization.
