Strategy Analytics Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own and govern operational management information, KPIs, and performance reporting across front and back-office departments.
• Diagnose operational bottlenecks and customer friction points to recommend improvements in processes, tooling, and product workflows.
• Lead the analytical cycle for demand forecasting, capacity planning, and resourcing decisions.
• Partner with Data Science and Operations teams to define success metrics and evaluate the impact of AI and automation initiatives.
• Manage and develop a team of analytics engineers while personally delivering high-priority technical analysis.
• Translate complex data insights into clear business decisions and actionable strategies for senior leadership.

Requirements

• Must be based in London and able to work from the office Tuesday–Thursday.
• Very strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience working with APIs and advanced Excel.
• Strong commercial and operational judgement with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of semantic data models, analytics engineering practices, and causal measurement.
• Experience in a management or team-lead capacity.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt.
• Knowledge of the regulatory environment in fintech (fraud, conduct risk, due diligence).
