Strategy Analytics Manager (Fintech)

Location: London, UK; hybrid. Work from home is available on Mondays and Fridays, with in-office collaboration on other weekdays.

What you will do

• Own Operations management information, performance reporting, and KPIs covering demand, SLAs, throughput, productivity, quality, and customer outcomes.
• Lead a small analytics team and set priorities across Analytics, Analytics Engineering, Data Science, and Operations.
• Diagnose operational bottlenecks, customer friction, failure demand, and inefficient workflows, then recommend improvements to processes, routing, tooling, and products.
• Support forecasting, capacity planning, headcount decisions, SLA trade-offs, and evidence-based operational prioritisation.
• Measure automation, AI, and LLM initiatives using hypotheses, baselines, control groups, and success metrics.
• Collaborate with Operations Directors, department heads, Transformation, Product, and Data Science stakeholders.

Requirements

• Very strong SQL and Python skills, with hands-on experience working directly with data.
• Experience working with APIs, advanced Excel, semantic data models, and analytics engineering practices.
• Knowledge of basic statistics, experimentation, causal measurement, Data Science, automation, and LLM principles.
• Strong commercial and operational judgement, including the ability to translate complex analysis into clear business decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence influencing or constructively challenging senior leaders.
• Ability to work at pace across multiple competing priorities.
