Management Accountant

Location: London, with hybrid working available

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per annum plus benefits

hirify.global is partnering with a growing business seeking a Management Accountant for its finance team.

What you will do

• Prepare monthly management accounts, commentary, and variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Own month-end and year-end reporting processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and control account reviews.
• Partner with operational and project teams on commercial decision-making.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, audits, and statutory reporting.
• Monitor project costs, margins, and profitability in a complex project-led environment.
• Take ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable function initially, including supplier payments, reconciliations, and queries.

Requirements

• Part-qualified, finalist, or qualified accountant with ACCA, CIMA, or ACA studies or credentials.
• Management accounting experience in property, real estate, construction, infrastructure, engineering, or a similar project-based environment.
• Experience managing or supporting the end-to-end Accounts Payable process.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, commercially minded, independent, and able to demonstrate commitment and longevity in previous positions.
